More of Queenstown

Queenstown is ridiculously pretty. You'd have to be a complete idiot if you managed to get an ugly photo. I took these on my walk to QRC campus.

Just in case you don't know what the below photo is, it is a picture of the water.
The tiny St Peters church which I will attempt to visit on Sunday.

 And this pretty (magnolia?) tree.
Still miss everyone. Leave me a comment to know I'm not alone.

Well, I'm in. I unpacked yesterday and made my room look more me---sort of.

Yesterday we went to the cocktail function which was nice but awkward. No one likes being a newbie. So we have all sorts of students here. Most are 18 / 19 and say things like: "...mean, that's hard out". Hmmm.

Anyway, after that, I came back to the residence and went to sleep. I was really tired and unfortunately I didn't get much sleep cuz I was cold T_T. My tootsies were chilled and it made it really hard to get comfortable.

This morning we all got up for breakfast which was a nice continental breakfast. I had toast with butter and natural yoghurt with grapes. At 8:00 am the RA walked us to the College where we had a rules and regulations breakdown for a few hours. After that we went to get our uniforms fitted. By this, I mean we tried on various clothes and found a size that fit nice enough. After that, if the hems were too long, they were measured and we wrote how much it was to be turned up.

After that, we were let off and I wondered round Queenstown getting familiar with the place. I found a convenience store and bought a few essentials. I then took the bus back to the residence.

Bored yet?

So yeah, here I am typing away. Apparently we have a residence meeting at 5:30 and a BBQ I think.

Any way. PHOTO TIME.

My new room. Haven't figured out where to put the poodles.

 Doesn't the bed look nice?
And the bathroom...
And the pièce de résistance:

Ta-da! That's from my bedroom window.

Anyway, gotta go. I'll blog soon-ish?

Trip to Queenstown

Just a photo narrative.

Below Wellington Airport.

On the plane to Queenstown. Lots of rugby fans.

This is the view as soon as I left the airport.

And they has these gorgeous statues with holes Nef!

My room at the Mercure.

And this was dinner. Very healthy.

So yeah. That's all I have for now! Miss you guys already.
