The Plan...

Alright, I have a plan in place for this new year. I am very excited but at the same time freaked out, worried and anxious. The last two are synonyms of each other but it helps reiterate my point. So here it is...

“The Plan”
From February 7th I am going to do makeup artistry here. This will last four months until June. The course is in Auckland so I've been planning, planning, planning like mad. It will be expensive to live up there but (as they say...) no pain no gain.
After, I will return home for a few months and in October travel down to Queenstown to do a Diploma of Hotel Management here.

At this point I have about two weeks before I leave home. The only things I've been doing lately is eating, sleeping and going to work. Now that the holiday season is coming to an end I'm getting less hours at the cafe, for which I am grateful. My callouses are getting callouses! I'm sad to say but the job no longer gives me the same joy it did. Nonetheless I will miss it.

Bring on February!

Welcome the goddess of the moon and the night,
Bless us with wisdom, bless us with might.
Give us tonight, the power to heal,
The power to release the magick so real.

...thanks!...sweet Lady!

Haha look at your other comment!

Anyway - I'M SO SAD!!! I mean, I wasn't going to see you much this year anyway but just hearing about your plans (without me) makes my eyes water.

...For about two seconds. Then I get excited for you. YAY! That make up course looks cool! I hope you do well! (What am I saying, of course you will!). AND you will live only an hour and a half from me so you can come visit! And Nicoles up there, and Nathan might be up there if he gets the job he wants, and Janams up there and Joash I think - you might just bump into all of them!!!!

Good NY resolutions btw. Am I considered a close friend? Will you keep in touch? haha. Oh, and I want to read your story when it's done - Stef tells me you're really talented at writing so I'm sure I'll love it. Even if it is a teen vampire novel. tee hee

The Taj, mayhap, to you may seem, a mark of love supreme
You may hold this beauteous vale in great esteem;
Yet, my love, meet me hence at some other place!
How odd for the poor folk to frequent royal resorts;
‘Tis strange that the amorous souls should tread the regal paths
Trodden once by mighty kings and their proud consorts.
Behind the facade of love my dear, you had better seen,
The marks of imperial might that herein lie screen’d
You who take delight in tombs of kings deceased,
Should have seen the hutments dark where you and I did wean.
Countless men in this world must have loved and gone,
Who would say their loves weren’t truthful or strong?
But in the name of their loves, no memorial is raised
For they too, like you and me, belonged to the common throng.
